Friday, March 7
2:00 to 4:00 Informal meetings with individual faculty and
graduate students
4:00 Question and Answer period with current graduate students-
Graduate Lounge 4th floor
6:00 Pizza dinner –Graduate Lounge- 4th floor
8:00 Depart Chemistry for Hotel
Saturday, March 8 (meet in A-304 unless otherwise noted)
8:00 am Graduate Students will meet you in the hotel lobby
to bring you to the Chemistry building
8:30 am Breakfast-A-304
9:00 am Welcome to UConn- Dr. Steven L. Suib, Dept. Head
9:15 am Brief overview of the Chemistry Graduate Program-
Dr. Ashis Basu, Chair, Graduate Committee
9:30 am Individual Meetings with Faculty
12:00 pm Graduate Student Poster Session-Chemistry Atrium
1st Floor
2:00 pm Additional Meetings with Faculty
4:00 pm Campus tours, Building tours, Area apartment tours
5:45 pm Meet at Hotel lobby or Chemistry Atrium to walk to
the banquet
6:00 pm Banquet- Shippee Hall, ground floor
